In this video we’re gonna be talking about a question I get all the time which is which type of Facebook ad to post and I know you’re gonna want an answer for this and the truth is there’s not one single answer but hopefully this video will give you some ideas on where you should go next and hopefully help you be able to figure out for yourself what kind of ad you should post. So I’ve talked about in previous videos all the different types of ads that you can post there’s video ads there’s conversion ads there’s just click link click ads there’s page like ads there’s more than that even lead ads which is one my personal favorites.
So which one should you do depends on a lot of things I’d say if you’re trying to get exposure for your brand video ads are probably one of the best ways to do that a video ad you’ll be able to get a lot of people viewing your ad for very cheap if you’re trying to get email conversions you want to consider probably a lead add lead ad is my personal favorite ad because all it does is it shows someone an ad and all they have to do is click two buttons and they’ve given you the your they’ve given you their email which is just amazing then of course there’s getting clicks to websites now some people tell me that these work better than lead ads and they’re cheaper to get leads. So I’d try that out if you’re trying to make sales on a product getting clicks to your website or conversion definitely the best one a lot of different options here a lot of people like to do a kind of a mix of all of them.
So maybe you show people a video first and anyone that’s watched up to 100% of that video then the next ad you show them would be a click ad meaning that they you know they pay you pay every time someone clicks on it and it takes them to their website. So maybe I would do a video ad about B dancewear and our dance products and if I see they watch 100% or more of the video the next ad would be like hey here is a to be an article about our clothing or it could be just a picture of one of our items saying hey buy it now carousel ads another great type of ad if you think if you’re trying to sell the people that already know about your brand for instance carousel ads are nice because you can show all the different products that you have people can scroll through click the different ones. So what is the one type Facebook ad you should run it depends if you’re really new to Facebook and you really are just looking a bit strapped this doing it a Lean Startup style I recommend lead ads because they’re. So simple to set up and you get that valuable email pretty much right away as opposed to video ads which takes a lot of work making a video if you don’t already have a video or other types of ads like click ads you need some kind of an email capture.
So I don’t highly recommend sending people directly to your product it can work I know people that it works for but the truth is most people that are browsing on Facebook are not looking to buy something right away there’s exceptions for certain types of products etc but for the your average consumer the best bet is to get their email and then sell to them down the line.
