So I had to come up to Valencia this is the other company I own B dance where it’s a dance clothing company and we hired some of the employees or I hired some of the employees for the day to pack the boxes for performance nut butter. So let’s go inside and check it out I didn’t ask them if I could film them ahead of time. So I’m not going to probably show any faces but you can see a little bit of the behind the scenes of both what it looks like inside the building and what it looks like packing the boxes. So as you can see one of the things I’m having to hire people to do is cut little notches out because this isn’t cutting this isn’t able to tear that out that well.

Let me show you what I’m talking about. So one of the things we’re doing before we pack it in the box is we’re taking these little clipper things you can just clip them out the little side I already did it on this one right here but as you can see before it’s pretty much impossible to tear open. So that was an issue that happened and I’m a little upset at my co-packer because this is something I really stressed can’t be an issue. So it’s gonna cost me you know a few hundred dollars extra but at least there’s a solution and there usually is a solution. So these are total waste one of the good things is when you have a problem a lot of times money can fix it I mean it can be a good thing or a bad thing. So when I had this problem I was a little nervous obviously with the pouches not being able to rip and you know having not being able to get it packed in but with a little bit of money you can solve most the problems in other news I’m getting ready for my third production run and what I’m trying to do this time instead is get ahead of it and the as you’ve probably seen in these vlogs my issue of my second production run was there was just there were. So many issues that it was kind of last minute I want to make sure that doesn’t happen again. So I’m trying to get out and ahead of it getting ready on the third production run. So for the third production run I would like to do dry roasted macadamia nuts but the problem with that is I can’t buy dry roasted macadamia nuts that are compliant with my co-packers allergen statement. So I’d have to buy a regular raw macadamia nuts and then hire a dry roaster the problem with that is most dry run Roasters have a minimum of 10,000 pounds that they will on a roast and I’m only looking to buy about a thousand to 1,500 pounds. So either I’m enough to spend a lot more money or I’m just gonna have to forego that do the raw one more time until I can figure out a person I can buy dry roasted allergen compliant nuts from. So these are you know just some of the issues another thing I’ll be doing and working on this week is trying to figure out where I buy the macadamia nuts from obviously like I said if I can find someone that’s dry roasted that’s allergen compliant that would be excellent but if I can’t I have two options I can either order it from New Jersey and save 75 cents a pound or order it from California and it’s gonna cost me you know 35 cents more pound I’ve never ordered from as far away is New Jersey and there’s an eight-day transit time. So I got a pay and I got to pay more in shipping. So it takes eight days to get here which is gonna obviously add to my lead time for my manufacturing. So there’s a lot to consider this week will be full of a lot of decisions and then at the end of the week I’m gonna be going to Hawaii. So I want to get everything done before I go to Hawaii.
