What Type of Tasks I Give My Virtual Assistants aka VAs

In this video, I am going to answer a question I get all the time – what kind of tasks do I give my VA. People ask me this so often that I had to make a video about it. Now, when people ask me, I am just going to give them the link to this video. The kinds of tasks that I give my VA vary but they all have one thing in common. They are algorithmic. They are repetitive. However, there is some kind of a formula. So let me give you a few examples of some of the tasks that I give my VA.

 

First off, they have daily tasks. Some of these tasks involve responding to emails. I tell explain that if the email says this, respond this way. There are a few emails that I get on a regular basis and I do not want to have to respond in the same way over and over again. So, I tell my VAs, “Hey, if you can respond to the email, great. Here are a few templates to use. Respond to the email if you can. If you cannot, put it in this special folder. I will check that folder.” So, if they cannot respond to an email, that is fine. But 80% of the time emails I get are repetitive or very similar so that my VA can handle them.
Other tasks that they do are things like seeing what items we have in stock versus what items we do not presently have. I ended up creating an automated computer program that is able to determine this but originally we had to do this manually. Originally, we had to go into an Excel spreadsheet and search for which items we had in stock and compare that with sales.

Review of OnlineJobs.ph

In this video, I am going to give you my review of onlinejobs.ph. So, I have used a lot of sites to hire virtual assistants to outsource work and I will tell you right now off the bat onlinejobs@ph is one of my favorite ones. But, in this video, we will weigh the pros and the cons and let you determine if onlinejobs.ph is right for you. It may or may not be. It depends really on what your objectives are. So, let’s start from the beginning.

Why should you use onlinejobs.ph? Well, you should use it if you are looking for a full-time or a part-time virtual assistant (VA). If you are just looking to outsource one single job, go to a site like upwork.com or some site like fiverr.com  or 99designs.com if you are looking for some design work. If you are looking for a real virtual assistant (VA), onlinejobs.ph is by far the way to go.

I have a ton of other videos on how to hire VAs. You can search for those but in this one let’s just talk about the website online jobs at onlinejobs.ph. So, there are a lot of different ways to accomplish this. You can go through third-party brokers. You can have hire people that will help you find a VA but personally, I do not recommend doing that. How you choose to do this will depend on your situation. If you make a ton of money and you do not want to spend any time trying to find a VA, then you may want to pay someone to hire your VA for you. However, it is not that hard to hire a VA. How to Optimize Your Category Pages For Your Online Store

 

In this lesson we’re going to talk about category pages and how you can optimize your category pages but before we do you have to understand something about these category pages category pages only have one job they don’t make you any money there’s no one that’s ever made a fortune just from their category pages the job of the category pages is to get people to a product the job of the category pages is to make it easy for someone to find the right product for them and ultimately buy it.

So how do you do this that’s a great question you need to make them easy to navigate you need to make it someone people go to your category pages they can figure out what product is best for them they can figure out how to move around all those kind of things it’s got to be easy to find that product if it’s if you’ve got a thousand products and they’re all basically the same but just slightly different and people have to click on one after another after another that’s no good that’s kind of a problem and I’ve ran into this problem myself I’ll talk about later in this lesson the issue that I was facing because my category page is really ugly but I did something that completely changed that that might be applicable to some of you. So the goal is to funnel your visitors into a specific product.

The #1 Most Important Thing To Focus On For Google Shopping Product Listing Ads AKA PLAs

In this video, we are going to talk about the most important thing to focus on for PLAs, also known as Product Testing Ads. They are also called shopping as in Google.

 

The number one thing, in my opinion, to focus on for PLAs is a tricky question. But, I would say that it is “negative keystrokes” hands down. Now, before you get that far, you do need to have your images. Images are extremely important. You also need to have your title. That is also very important. But, usually, people have those two items pretty good by this point.  Also, your bid amount and adjusting that is very important. However, when all is said and done, the number one mistake I see people make – and you know that I work with a lot of people in product listing ads, and they always make this mistake, is not having enough negative keywords. Google wants to make as much money as possible. They do not care if they are showing your ad for something that is wrong. They care a little bit, but not very much. You have to tell Google. “If someone types in this word, do not show my ad.”

This is something that happens all the time in my business. We sell dance clothing and, for instance, one of the things we sell is booty shorts. We sell them in different colors. I have seen people search for “pictures of girls in booty shorts.” What! I do not want them seen a picture of my ad and I do not want them to be able to click on my ad if that is what they are looking for. Obviously, they are not looking to buy something! Shopify vs Squarespace Pros and Cons Review Comparison

In this video, we are going to do a review of Shopify vs. Squarespace. We are going to review the pros and cons. U ultimately, we are going to figure out which one you should pick. Now, I already know which one is going to win. Obviously, we are going to wait until the end of the video to find that out. Let’s start off with some of the pros.

First, let’s start with Shopify. So, Shopify is built for ECommerce and I assume if you are watching this video you are probably wanting to compare Shopify to Squarespace. You are probably looking for something that is for eCommerce. Well, Shopify is 100% built for eCommerce as opposed to Squarespace which is more for artistic people to have websites. But, let’s go into more pros better credit card rates. You are going to make more money using Shopify. Now, if only by a little bit but I do need to mention this it is better credit card rates. On top of that, there is better add-on and apps. So, Shopify and Squarespace do not have everything you need right out of the box. You have to pay a little bit extra for some different add-ons some different apps that go with it. Shopify has a much bigger user base and which means it has a lot more apps a lot more apps a lot more integrations and functions which brings me to the next point. It integrates with Pinterest,  product listing ads and a ton of other things. So, if you want to sell on Pinterest, you can do it very easily by setting up a Shopify store and then click a few buttons and you will be selling on Pinterest.

Why You Should Use Kickstarter to Launch A Product

In this video we’re going to talk about why you should use Kickstarter to launch your product and this is a question I get all the time why did I decide to use Kickstarter to launch this product versus just doing a Shopify store or a Facebook launch of some kind and there’s a lot of reasons number one and let’s start off this may be the biggest one number one is there’s scarcity this is a psychological trigger there’s only days you only have 30 days to raise that money and this works twofold one it works for you because you know you only have days to raise that money which means we’re going to get your butt out there and get you generating money for your Kickstarter but two it works for every all your potential customers people that want to buy from you know that they only have days and if they if you don’t raise that money within days well that project’s not going to happen.

So if you really believe in some kind of a project in your on Kickstarter you need to support it ASAP the second part of this is friends and family if you’ve launched an online store there’s no real urgency if you launch an online store and tell your friends and family hey can you buy a product one there’s not really a lot of benefit why they would buy a product with Kickstarter you can say will you buy a product because then I’ll get closer to reaching my goal and everyone’s going to see it and every we’re going to see how I raise $15000, if it’s on your online store it’s private your people your friends and family aren’t going to feel is needed (more…)

Why AdWords is Better than Facebooks Ads

In this video, I am going to tell you why I think AdWords is actually way better than Facebook Ads. Now, this is controversial and a lot of people will probably disagree with me. However, if you are an eCommerce store owner and you are running Facebook Ads and not running AdWords, I think you are crazy. There are a bunch of different people where this may not apply.

I prefer AdWords because I make way more money off AdWords than I do Facebook Ads and here is the number one reason why. When people are searching for things in Google, there is a good chance that they are looking to buy something. Often people are looking for information. One of the benefits of AdWords is that you can tailor it to people that are specifically looking to buy.

When people are on Facebook, they are almost never looking to buy. They are looking to interact with their friends. They are looking to look at their friends’ photos. They are looking for pictures of a past lover or even a future lover. They are doing things on Facebook that has nothing to do with purchasing your product. When someone searches, for instance, for my company or for dance shorts in Google, well, maybe they are just looking for pictures of dance shorts. But, maybe they are actually looking to buy them. So it is intent. It is 100% intent. With Facebook Ads, a lot of people do not realize the crucial fact that people may not want to see your ad and that is not necessarily true with AdWords. On Facebook, nobody wants to see ads pretty much ever. On Google, sometimes your ad is actually the perfect item for this person. How to Open a Business Account and Get a DBA

One of the questions I get all the time is how to open up a business account specifically a business bank account and get a DBA. If you do not know what a DBA is, it is a legal document that you file showing that you are “doing business as” a name other than your own. This allows you to do all of the things you need to do including opening bank accounts using that name. I have completed this process a few times now and it is very important if you are going to be starting a business. In fact, you cannot open a business bank account without a DBA or some other document showing that you are a legal business and what kind of a business entity your company is. There are a number of different types and I will talk about that in another video. Some of those different types there are LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp or just being a sole proprietor. So, for instance, with Effective Ecommerce, my company, I turned it into a DBA. Since there is not a lot of liability, I felt there was no reason to deal with all of the headaches and paperwork and pay all the money needed to turn it into an LLC or an S-Corp. It is not like a lot of people are going to be able to sue me over something and if they did, they probably would not win. So, I do not really need to protect myself. Now, if you are selling supplements or something that potentially could be dangerous, an LLC is probably much more interesting but that is the subject of another video. Which Type of Facebook Ad to Post

In this video, we are going to be talking about a question I get all the time which is what type of Facebook Ad to post. I know you are going to want an answer for this. The truth is, there is not one single answer but hopefully this video will give you some ideas on where you should go next and hopefully help you be able to figure out for yourself what kind of ad you should post. So, I have talked about this in previous videos – all the different types of ads that you can post. There are video ads. There are conversion ads. They just click, link, click ads. There is a page like ads. There are more ads than that, even lead ads which is one of my personal favorites.

Which type of Facebook Ad you should post depends on a lot of things. I would say if you are trying to get exposure for your brand, video ads are probably one of the best ways. With a video ad, you will be able to get a lot of people viewing your ad for very cheap.

If you are trying to get email conversions, you want Alhea. Alhea is my personal favorite ad because all it does is it shows someone an ad and all they have to do is click two buttons and they have given you their email which is just amazing.

Then, of course, there is getting clicks to websites. Now, some people tell me that these work better than lead ads and they are cheaper to get than leads. So, I would try that out. If you are trying to make sales on a product, getting clicks to your website or conversion definitely are the best ones.
