The first step is to get a hosted shopping cart, all the carts below offer a free trial. I recommend going with Shopify as it is the most popular and has the most add-ons, support, templates and intergrates better with other services. Shopify – Shopify is a web application that allows you to create an online store. It provides you with several templates that can be customized to meet your branding requirements, and the system allows physical or digital goods to be sold. Starting Your Online Store
Domains and SSLs: Namecheap.com – It is a web hosting company that helps you register your very own trademark. It also allows you to register your domain for your own website.
Store Logo, banners and other graphics: 99Designs– If you wanted to have a unique and customized logo for your site, you can do it through 99Designs. By just adding a brief description to what you wanted, designers will create it for you and you just have to pay for the price.
Web Hosting: Blue Host – BlueHost is a very popular web hosting company that offers a free domain for life. You can also host multiple domains and websites on your account through BlueHost, and they will give you unlimited space and transfer bandwidth
Email Campaigns: Mail Chimp – Mail Chimp is an email marketing service that allows people to send email newsletters, invitations, reminders and more, to lists of subscribers. With MailChimp, you can build and customize email templates (without learning to code), manage lists of people who subscribe to your emails and view reports of how well your emails perform by looking at data such as who opened your emails and who clicked on links in your email.

Amex Gold – is one of several charge cards offered by the company. Overall, the Gold Card is a middle-of-the-road charge card which offers less value than some of the more premium alternatives from American Express. Despite this, anyone in the market for a charge card should definitely consider this as an entry-level option. The American Express® Gold Card offers a low annual fee (compared to other charge cards) while still giving cardholders the ability to earn AMEX Membership Rewards, which is a high-value rewards program.

That’s a potentially huge earner for small-business owners, making this card a nice option if you’re looking for a business credit card.

Audible – Audible is the world’s largest producer of digital audiobooks. Their selection includes over 200,000 best-selling digital audiobooks, radio and TV programs, as well as audio subscriptions to popular magazines and newspapers. It is a really good thing to try because you can listen to the audiobooks wherever you are.
Don’t Make Me Think – Don’t Make Me Think is a book by Steve Krug about human–computer interaction and web usability. The book’s insight is that a good software program or web site should let users accomplish their intended tasks as easily and directly as possible. It is very easy to read for technical and non-technical readers and provides a lot of useful information that can serve as a reference guide or good
How to Win Friends and Influence People – This is a famous book by Dale Carnegie that was written nearly 30 years ago. It is a very god book for self-help with topics in human relations and psychology. You will learn techniques in handling people, how to make them like you and how you can win them to your way of thinking which I think is very vital in the business world.
Think and Grow Rich – A motivational book written by Napoleon Hill after interviewing hundreds of successful men of business that he met. This book will reveal a secret to success. It is very helpful because of the many stories of paths to success and various helpful tips and strategies.
4 Hour Work Week – This book by Tim Ferriss will give you a new and better worldview, with pervasive assumptions about the way life is and will be. One f the most inspiring book you will ever read in the truest sense because the author presents a new possibility for the reality of life and actually follows it up with step-by-step instructions.
E-Myth Revisited – The E-myth revisited is a book by Michael Gerber telling the reason behind why most small businesses – no matter how huge effort they put in their endeavor – still fail. All answers are revealed in this book. Therefore, this book is very useful most especially if you’re just starting your own business.
Jab Jab Jab Right Hook – This book is a great book by Mr. Gary Vaynerchuk. The book is subtitled “How to tell your story in a noisy social world” and clearly explains how brands (and individuals) can cut through the clutter on social media with creative and powerful content. The book is full of powerful insight that is easy to digest and simple to understand for marketers at any level.
My Favorite Non-Ecommerce/Online Store Tools I Use for Productivity and a Happier Life
Audio-Technica ATH-M30x Professional Studio Monitor Headphones – This is the headphone that I personally use and I love it. The quality is great with its 40mm drivers with rare magnets and copper-clad aluminum wire voice coils. What’s amazing is that it has an excellent mid-range definition and is really designed to excel for studio tracking, mixing and field recording.
Asus VS247H-P 23.6-Inch Full-HD LED-Lit LCD Monitor – This 23.6 display with 1920×1080 resolution is the one that I use for doing all my stuff. It has a quick response time of 5ms and eliminates ghosting and tracers for more fluid video playback. The reason why I love it is it can adjust color parameters to deliver the same image quality and colors with 3 different inputs you can use (HDMI, DVI and VGA).
Hamilton Beach 40996 Programmable Kettle, 1.7-Liter – Of course, while doing all these things, you come to a point where you just needed coffee or tea. So I use this Programmable Kettle because it has pre-set temperatures and boils water faster than a microwave, and it also keeps the water hot for one hour.
KENKO Matcha Green Tea Powder – I love organic stuff because it really helps out our body. So if I feel like drinking tea, I drink this Matcha Green Tea which is organic and with extremely good quality. With its high amount of antioxidants you will notice you have more energy that lasts for longer.
