Despite what Google says mobile traffic does not convert as well as desktop and tablet in this episode I’m going to show you how to turn off your mobile traffic to your AdWords campaign. So you can save money hi I’m Travis with Effective Ecommerce and in this episode, this isn’t. So much a QA as it’s an issue I see over and over again when I’m reviewing AdWords campaigns or product listing ads campaigns now mobile traffic can convert fairly well but despite anything that you might read on google or other things generally speaking and there’s probably a few exceptions someone out there probably has an exception generally speaking mobile does not convert to the same level that desktop does and even if it does convert at the same level in a hypothetical world people are going to buy more the average order size on desktops going to be higher. So what does this mean this means you should have different bids for mobile than you do on desktop and tablet and in this video I’m going to show you how to do this step by step this is a really easy fix and for people that don’t want to see the full walkthrough all you have to do go into campaign settings mobile bid adjustment and set it to negative one hundred percent that’s really it but let me show you the full tutorial right now in this video I’m going to show you how to make it. So your campaign does not show on mobile. So it’s only on desktop and tablets. So the first thing you’re going to do is you’re going to go to your campaign that you want to make it only mobile. So in this example I’m going to do this campaign called dental find then you click on settings here. So yours might look a little bit different it originally might be look it might look like this you’re going to go to change mobile bid adjustment then it’ll take you here take that and click decrease by one hundred percent and that makes it. So a dollar bid on desktop and computers decreases by a hundred percent which makes zero dollars and now this is a mobile only campaign that’s it let me know if you guys have any questions and if you have any questions for next week’s video make sure you leave it in the comments below make sure you subscribe down below I’m going to give you new episodes every week making sure you stay ahead on the latest and greatest in ecommerce news and the trends you don’t want to get caught behind and if you haven’t already make sure you sign up for my Ecommerce success pack there’s a ton of great stuff in there basically when you sign up I’m going to send checklist marketing ideas other stuff like that and it’s going to be just tons of value in there I promise but thank you guys for watching this and remember we have new Ecommerce news episodes every Monday tips and tricks on Tuesdays and QA on Wednesday.
