All right now it’s time for my favorite part action items so the first action item. I have for you is to customize all your support pages that about Us page the Contact Us page all those different pages go in and do it in it remember it doesn’t have to be perfect and this is something I want to stress as much as I can just put something up and then you can forget about it for a little while and come back later and fix it when you have more time the about Us page that I currently have on my website I made it because I was really frustrated and I didn’t have in about Us page so I just put up something really quick then I went back in and I changed some of the wording and added a video so it’s an iterative process so don’t worry if it’s not perfect find some old Facebook you know photo of yourself and type out something stream-of-consciousness you can get someone to proofread it if you want I usually don’t and you know what happens maybe one or two people are annoyed because you misspelled the word but just get something up as soon as you can now the next action item I have for you is to customize your automated emails you send out thank you emails you send out other you know emails that people get after they purchase from you go in customize them make them special and make it so that your advertising maybe your YouTube channel or your Facebook or whatever kind of thing keep them in the funnel can also give away some kind of guide checklist some kind of value add free gift to them after that I want you to go and set up your category pages that’s the next action item setting up your category pages so they’re easy to use we talked a lot about a bunch of different tips that you can use on how to set up your category pages go through and try to figure out are they easy enough to use so they lead to someone being able to find a product easy because that’s the whole point of a category page the next action item is set up a basic email capture and we talked about this and one of the lessons I did and bunch of tips on some of the different ways you can set up an email capture just do it just set something up even if it’s just as simple this sign up for our newsletter I don’t recommend doing that but if that’s all you want to do is sign up for our newsletter is the email capture go ahead and do that and go back later and change it the next thing is look through your site optimize it as much as you can for conversions we did a whole lesson on how to optimize for conversions so go through add trust symbols a phone number change the Add to Cart button do whatever you need to do to make it so your site is optimized for conversions then ask one to three people to use your site what I put one there is an option so if you’re really lazy you can ask your mom or your family member your girlfriend boyfriend whatever you can ask them to use the site but I recommend one two three at least if you can do more that’s better I mean after probably about ten people you’re not going to start you’re not going to get as much valuable information after ten people you should probably just go make the changes and then ask more people again later but at least one to three people do that for me up for this action item and then the last action item I have is add a retargeting pixel super simple to do just add it in set it and forget it and we’ll come back later and we’ll talk about actually how to do remarketing but for right now just go ahead and set up that pixel if you like this video then you’re gonna love my new e-commerce course the k ecommerce profit plan in it I teach you the strategies and techniques that I actually use to build my own successful e-commerce business we talked about how to set up a website an e-commerce site that actually makes sales then we talked about how to get traffic to that site and ultimately I give you the tips and techniques on how to make it be as profitable as possible we talked about things such as SEO Google Analytics everything you’ve heard about AdWords it’s all in there this is really pretty much everything I know about e-commerce I put in this one course I was tired of people asking me how do I get traffic to my website or how do I build an e-commerce site and I wanted to just bundle it all up in one course when you buy the course you’ll get free lifetime access to my private Facebook group and on top of that for the first hundred people to buy the course I’ll give you a free one on one -minute consultation you can go to Effectiveecommerce.com or click up here now to buy the course and make sure that you get one of the free -minute one-on-one consultation sessions.
