Day 27 the launch is getting really close I did a lot of big things I was actually up in Valencia for most of the day not the entire day actually on the drive up to Valencia which is where B dancer mount main he Commerce company is located I did in interview I did it well it was with the same guy that directed my Kickstarter video but he went in and did an interview I think it turned out really good I really liked especially it was all just very natural he would ask him questions and I’d respond it wasn’t pretty thought-out at all I was happy I think it helps the fact that I’ve I talked to the camera. So often anyways that I wasn’t super awkward about it that’s debatable the other thing I did was I got mock-ups. So this is performance nut butter let’s see it hopefully that focuses we’ll see if it goes a little shiny.

As you can see on this side this is the original box you know I’ve bought a box of nut butter in the store but on this side we put stickers. So all we did is I bought the sticker paper at Office Max Ross kilometer scale had one of the girls that work at the dance where do this design because I have to do the illustrator file that the guy that I hired to my logo he also I hired him also to do the jar label and we took that file and we basically created a this logo on Adobe AIR we created these designs printed it on sticker paper and then just you know place it on here.

Welcome to the Effective Ecommerce podcast I’m your host Travis Marziani. So I want to talk a little bit about what this podcast is all about and then I want to go into my story. So this first episode we’re just gonna give a general overview of what this podcast is about and how I got started in Ecommerce. So first off the first thing I want to say is this podcast the first  40  episodes or. So I want to do a complete ecommerce course everything I wish I would have known when I first was starting my ecommerce company and I learned a lot from listening to podcasts and I wish someone would have just said hey here’s step    here’s the A through Z now obviously this isn’t gonna be as complete as it possibly could there’s things that I don’t know about Ecommerce still there’s a lot I still don’t know about Ecommerce but my goal is to take everything I know about Ecommerce and condense it down into this let’s call it an audio course that I’m giving out for free as a podcast. So first off let’s talk a little bit about my story. So my name is Travis Marziani and I started in Ecommerce about five years ago I had a job at a corporate job I quit that a little over four and a half years ago I pretty much quit it cold turkey I wasn’t making any money on ecommerce and I don’t recommend that for everybody I think if you’re young and you don’t have a lot of responsibilities that makes sense which I was and still I am but for a lot of people that I know the right route is to instead just do it as a side hustle. What’s up everybody! So I got some updates on what I’ve been working on with Performance Nut Butter things are starting to get really exciting things are starting to get real I finalized the design for my pouch me and my box I’ll put a little snapshot right here of what that looks like on top of that I put version 1.0 of the Amazon page and that’s just going to be for the jar I’ll show a little bit of footage of what that looks like and how to do that pretty easy process. So that basically just putting up my first product for this new company Performance Nut Butter up on Amazon very excited about that it’s not perfect there’s gonna be a lot of tweaking a lot of adding that I do soon enough I also applied for a trademark which only took about an hour I I’ll put up a little bit of footage of that I didn’t record a proper video of that I just recorded my screen as I did it because I had no idea what I was doing and I didn’t want to do a how-to video when I have no idea what I’m doing and you know to be honest I don’t even know if I did it right. So I’ll put a little bit of footage on what I did there but basically it’s um I applied I looked at other people’s trademark to make sure that I’m not infringing on anybody’s trademark which I don’t believe I am plums nut butter is a pretty unique idea by that I’m not trying to toot my own horn I’m just saying it’s different it’s not something that I’m not going to be hopefully infringing on anyone else’s patent or trademarks but you (more…)

It’s a recap of day 26 a lot happened today one of the big things they did today was actually interviews and mastermind. So a lot of conversations. So the first thing one of the first things I did today actually was an interview with this guy’s name is Raj Patel he does I think I’m gonna mess up the name but basically he’s a Kido coach he held I think it’s my Kido coach column I’m not exactly sure on that but I interviewed him for the height of your twenties podcast he’s excited for the product I’m gonna send him a test jar see what he thinks about it. So that was one of the first things they did on top of that I can’t even read sometimes I can’t read my own writing I build my online store podcast yeah I reported that. So that’s what you know I record it right here I got my year mic which is what I recommend it’s about bucks which is pretty cheap. So like a realtor might be even or bucks pretty cheap for high quality mic I just record it straight into audacity I also did the mastermind and I went on a podcast which is rare for me I haven’t been on many other people’s podcast it was a podcast called land geek glam geek I believe and what was really interesting about it was when I showed up they didn’t even know how I got on their own show they’re like how do you how do you book this time.

Hey everybody so I haven’t been doing a lot of the blog vlogs I guess actually technically for Performance Nut Butter but let me catch you up right now everything that I’ve been doing and I to be honest I haven’t been doing a lot of work on Performance Nut Butter and this is the way that I work this is my brain I kind of get I like to work and I really like to work really hard at one project but I kind of run out of steam I run out of ideas for that projects can I like to move over to a different project so Performance Nut Butter is kind of in this stage right now where I don’t have any products to sell I don’t have any Kickstarter really like I’m not trying to it doesn’t make sense for me to put in a ton of effort to continue to presale so I’m working on some of the other businesses I have the Effective Ecommerce this this company but more specifically be dancewear for the most part but I have still been doing some Performance Nut Butter stuff and I’m gonna kind of fill you in up to what I’ve been doing up to now basically what I’ve been doing with Performance Nut Butter and then I want to start vlogging regularly I want to vlog every day I work on the business I want to try to vlog I’m gonna skip some I’m gonna miss some here and there but let me catch you up on some of the big things I do and I have it written down but some of the big stuff I’ve been doing is the packaging that’s probably the number one thing I’ve been doing so now that I have (more…)

I’ve just a recap for day so I’ve over some of the things I did today it was a big planning day actually it’s a little of those days where I’ve shown you my planning process another one of those days I planned out a bunch of thing well the big thing the plan is this is the week leading up to the Kickstarter so I started teasing people with different things I started saying hey or one week out or you know we’re six days out we’re four days out or at least I started the planning process of the season the next thing is taking pictures for the gift server to a lot of pictures for the Kickstarter we got mostly milk pictures we got were pictures of how to eat if we have it on is the seal bread spoon so it feels like a healthy kind of bread we got it in cos you took a picture of it mixed in with coffee we also got it on App and one of the big lesson learned from Kay was take pictures outside preferably if you can think of an hour which is like an hour or two before sunset or hour to after sunrise best time to do it but it’s really hard to make a good lighting inside I’ll try to put it in a picture right here of one of the pictures

I took inside which is really bad lighting and then here’s one picture set up outside wait better lighting specifically with the apps I mean I did the different fiction different apples so the other thing I did was taking pictures of Kickstarter I also got turning other pictures to I think I got like some mock-up pictures things I would say (more…)
