In this video I want to talk about what I think is the best social media platform to drive traffic to your online store and hands down right now it’s Instagram in my opinion and it depends on what your niche is. But here’s the deal Facebook has really shut things down the organic reach is just not there. Instagram might be doing this soon but that is a whole other discussion. Right now it’s pretty good at getting traffic and it’s really good for getting engagement so I use a program that likes and follows people automatically. I probably shouldn’t be admitting this in that video but I’ve you let’s say I’ve used it before maybe. I maybe I stopped now and I went to a conference it’s called the Bulletproof Conference and when I was at the conference I had 10 different people come up to me and say Travis it’s so great to see you know how’s everything going. And I said you know I’m like great everything’s going good I have no idea who any of these people were and they said yeah you know you remember you do you recognize me we’re friends on Instagram. I, of course, said yes I’m like yeah what’s going on but I had no idea so here’s real people at a conference that’s specifically geared towards biohackers people that would be interested and my Performance Nut Butter product that came up to me and we’re excited to see me because my robot basically liked and followed them that’s power I also will go on there and comment and leave messages for people and like their photos for just like not using the robot actually for myself and you can build some strong relationships I actually met some other people that I did that with and you know we don’t really even know each other in real life but because we’ve commented and liked each other’s photos were like automatically really good friends so this is powerful I mean you can still use Twitter I think Twitter is great if you’re trying to reach out to influencers that’s really powerful but it’s still think Instagram you can do that you can still comment and direct message using Instagram and that’s a little secret for you the Instagram direct message is huge right now you should definitely be doing that so what else Pinterest. Pinterest is beautiful if you have the right demographic for it so both performance nut butter and be dancer are my two main companies. I can use Pinterest for be the answer what I’ve been doing is DIY pins so it’s pins on DIY your dance costume it says you know you want to add rhinestones to your dance costume for instance here’s five steps on how to add rhinestones to your costume now when they click on the Pinterest pin it takes them to my website actually takes them to an email capture or if they want to get the DIY guide for free all they have to do is enter their an email and that’s beautiful. I get so many emails from that now does it translate into sales mmm not always right away I mean there is some translation there but it’s more of a long-term plan collecting emails same thing with Instagram actually I want to mention that’s how I built up my pre-launch group when I launched the performance nut butter Kickstarter so I built this group of people that were fans and I said hey enter for a chance to win a free box when it comes out and I did I sent out some free jars and some free boxes to people but more specifically it was a great way to build this audience so that when I did launch the product they all knew about it so Instagram right now for my money is the best platform out there I think Pinterest is good Facebook and Twitter are kind of dying off in my opinion I will throw a shout-out to YouTube. You guys are watching a YouTube video right now YouTube in my opinion is also very.
